Senior head of department in charge of all aspects regarding the conference and sales of the hotel.
Handling meeting & events enquiries and corporate sales leads, generating new business and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
- Managing a team of 3 staff members and junior sales co-ordinator.
- Generate proposals and contracts
- Developing market and sales strategies
- Negotiation to maximum revenue
- Implementing budgets & targets
- Internal & external communication(staff briefing & liaising with event planners/organisers)
- Training new staff, supervising conference team during events, appraisals & reviews Accounting & administration
- Site visits, show rounds, networking events, promotional visits
- Duty Manager shifts
