Biography

Attorney Charles Robert Knight brings over 35 years of experience in commercial law to his current role as Senior Counsel to the Pastore Law Group in Stamford, Connecticut. From 2005 to 2008, Charles Knight served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Flight Safety Technologies, Inc. In this position, attorney Charles Knight maintained a number of responsibilities critical to the success of the company, including the negotiation of international trade agreements, SEC reporting and compliance, and patent litigation and intellectual property defense. Prior to joining Flight Safety Technologies, Charles Robert Knight handled complex commercial litigation as an attorney at Brown Raysman Law Firm. Charles Robert Knight began his career as General Counsel to the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. In this role, he served as the chief lobbyist for all of Indiana’s mayors in the state legislature. Attorney Charles Robert Knight next joined the Indianapolis-based Stewart & Irvin Law Firm, serving as a Partner in the firm. While at Stewart & Irvin, Charles Knight also served as an elected municipal judge from 1980 to 1988. In Charles Knight’s next role in the legal field, he served as the Claim Counsel for the national insurance firm Aetna. Charles Knight’s responsibilities in this position included the direct supervision of 200 attorneys spread across 24 offices nationwide. Charles Knight’s experience in the insurance industry played an important role in the creation of his private practice, which he operated as the sole owner for 12 years. Besides insurance law, Charles Knight also handled cases, involving employment law and patent law through his private practice. Mr. Charles Robert Knight studied law at the Indiana University School of Law. Attorney Charles Knight is also a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy via the Notre Dame University School of Law. Professionally, attorney Charles Knight maintains membership in the American Bar Association.
