Successful Business Owner Charles Petersheim Leads Three Companies

About  Charles Petersheim

For over two decades, Charles Petersheim has been involved in the real estate construction and design business. First starting as a house painter in Pennsylvania, Charles “Chuck” Petersheim moved to New York City and began working as a commercial construction manager. During the four years he held this position, he was involved in such major projects as the building of Scholastic’s new headquarters in Soho.

Mr. Petersheim moved to Sullivan County in 2001 after the September 11 attacks and started Catskill Farms and Bluestone Construction, two of his current companies, soon after. He later founded his third current company Lazy Meadows Realty and Ecotech Spray Foam, a spray foam insulation business that he sold in 2014.

As owner and founder, Mr. Petersheim oversees the daily operations of all three companies. He manages 14 employees at Bluestone Construction and is committed to investing in local goods, vendors, and services. He invests over $300,000 every month in local businesses through the company.

Meanwhile, at Lazy Meadows Realty, Mr. Petersheim leverages his extensive knowledge of the real estate market in Sullivan County to help buyers and sellers find their perfect home. His experience in the second home market also gives him a unique edge as a listing agent. Despite his involvement in two other companies, Mr. Petersheim is perhaps most known for Catskill Farms and he has designed, built, and sold more than 100 homes since starting the company.
