I provided Asset Protection support to 15 store locations in IL & WI producing $150 million in annual revenue. At several times over the past two years I was responsible for 40 locations. Monitor all controllable expense lines, investigate incidents on a priority basis and ensure timely resolution and prosecution on all investigations. Conduct store Asset Protection Risk Assessments and address operational deficiencies with store management to ensure they are course corrected.Train store management on Asset Protection initiatives and policies and drive associate awareness within the stores.Track all daily & weekly store inventory shrinkage, investigate all shipping issues to ensure that the stores do not book shrink due to errors within logistics and transportation. Developed World Class associate awareness campaigns in the stores to increase associates knowledge about Asset Protection and decrease shrink.Build and cultivate strong business relationships with District Managers, Human Resources, and Store Management to ensure that the company Asset Protection Plan was properly executed in all locations. Provide training and professional development for new Area Asset Protection Managers within my assigned region.

Major Accomplishments

·Increased external & internal theft resolution by 20% over previous year. Recognized by Senior Management as the most productive AAPM ranked against my peers in the Midwest Region in 2008 for internal case resolution.

·Dramatically improved shrink performance in MN and WI districts in 2008.WI stores were 85% better than company shrink target plan and had the best shrink performance in the company.MN stores were 6% better than company shrink target plan.

·Through effective investigations I recovered over $286,000 for the company.

·Received Shrink Composite Metrics Award for 2nd Quarter 2008 for #1 AAPM in the Midwest Region for Asset Protection metrics.

·Utilized my skills and Asset Protection knowledge to train new Area Asset Protection Managers

·Developed region wide Alert Award Trainer Program to increase associate awareness within the stores to protecting company assets.

I provided Asset Protection support to 8 store locations in MN & ND producing $210 million in annual revenue.Monitor all expense lines, investigate incidents on a priority basis and ensure timely resolution and prosecution on all investigations.Train management and store associates on store safety and asset protection policies.Conduct Shrink Performance Reviews in each location monthly to identify deficiencies regarding safety and asset protection.Follow up with management on store deficiencies and develop an action plan to get issues course corrected.I was Responsible for annual inventory audits and preparation of all buildings to ensure an accurate inventory count.I also had to partner with the receiving associates to ensure shipments to the stores were accurate ensuring that the store was not booking any shrink due to errors within logistics and transportation.

I was responsible for supporting 22 locations in MN, WI, ND & SD which produced $500 million in annual revenue.In this position I was responsible for analyzing store based exception reporting to generate internal theft cases for the stores in the field.As an Internal Investigations Specialist I had to partner effectively with field personnel (Asset Protection Managers and Store Investigators) to ensure timely resolution of case activity I was referring into the field for closure and prosecution.I was also responsible for proactively identifying new point of sale enhancements which could be made by the IT department to prevent future fraud from occurring at point of sale terminals and causing inventory loss.I also had the opportunity to effectively coach and train several Asset Protection Managers and Store Investigators regarding systems investigations.

Major accomplishments

  • Delivered on 90% of assigned metrics while employed as an Internal Investigations Specialist
  • Significantly increased internal case productivity year-over-year in the stores.In 1999 I increased my case productivity almost 115% over 1998 results. Average annual recovery on investigations was $200,000
  • Completed internal investigations & interviewing training.
  • Recognized by store management as the systems expert for the stores Bridal Registry System.Partnered with systems development to enhance point of sale to stop fraud from occurring with Bridal Registry.
  • Completed Career Architect Training and constructed a professional individual development plan
  • Mentored many of my peers relating to systems investigations with very successful results
