  • Lead engineer for the design, build, validation, scheduling and service of a line of road milling machines ranging from 165-950 HP, road grinders ranging from 350-950 HP, and landfill compactors from 390-520 HP.
  • Use ProEngineer to generate 3D layouts and 2D GD&T drawings for all mobile products. Administer the ProEngineer database for the group of engineers creating data.
  • Create, validate, and manage hydraulic system specifications including pump/motor sizing, schematics, power consumption, and hose routing.
  • Create, validate, and manage engine drive systems including cooler, muffler, air filter, clutch, and hydraulic pump drive design. Includes new power units that meet current Tier requirements.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems for both production line and field service issues
  • Support sales/marketing with customer questions and am often called to speak with customers about specifics related to their job requirements or machine capabilities
  • Manage team consisting of engineer, designer, technical publications, and document control including annual reviews, scheduling, and day to day administration
