I am a creative person with excellent people skills. I hope to acquire a job as a History or Advertising teacher after completing my Masters in Education at Drury University. I am currently seeking part-time employment where I can put my skills to work.

My main responsibilities as a campus host are to give tours to prospective students and their families. This requires excellent speaking and communication skills as well as a vast knowledge of campus services and programs. I was also required to fill in at the front office answering phones and organizing campus visits.
Aug 2008 - May 2011
Served in the residence halls as a policy enforcer, program coordinator and personal guidance point person. I was responsible for the educational, social and physical well being of an entire dorm of freshmen students.
Jun 2009 - Aug 2009
Wrote advertising ads and then recorded them to be played on air. Also formulated news stories based on press releases sent to the station. Whenever my boss became ill I also took on the responsibility of preparing the morning news and then being on air for about two hours every morning presenting local, national and world headlines.
