  • To manage and direct the products business in an assigned region (volume, margin, profitability goals) in order to ensure optimum market coverage for product lines.
  • To establish and sustain key external relationships with customers and executives in each of the channels and gets actively involved within the industry in order to determine new ways to distribute and sell and product offerings.
  • To set volume and profit objectives for each channel in the Region and ensure objectives meet the overall business plan.

  • To supervise a team of four estimation engineers (including allocation and monitoring of inquiries) and reporting to the Technical Manager on regular basis.
  • To handle all the Technical/Pricing issues related to the Non-standard specifications and Custom selections (For eg, Heat Pipes Heat Recovery / Dehumidification, Heat wheel, Plate Heat Exchanger for AHUs and Industrial application of Chillers) for projects on case-to-case basis by applying cost-saving measures and optimizing the selection after consultation with the factory.
  • Product development involving the coil design, product catalogs, witness testing at factory laboratory (Thailand) for the various Upcoming series of the Fan Coil Units in order to suit the latest trends in the market such as district cooling applications (i.e. ∆T= 16F).
  • To obtain Eurovent Certification for the FCUs by liaising with IMQ Lab, TUV lab and Eurovent authorities.
  • Development of Selection Software for the water type Fan Coil Units in conjunction with a renowned software specialist firm.
  • To conduct training workshop of Products, Equipment selection program, and Pricing methodology for the Estimation engineers and Sales engineers.
  • To initiate re-order and replenishment of stock for spare parts from factories in order to avoid shortages.
  • To monitor the pricelists and issue technical bulletins to respective the agents/distributors of the countries within the Middle East territory.

  • Timely preparation of quarterly sales plans and monthly forecasts in agreement with the Export sales manager.
  • To review tender specification of the projects and complete all pre-bid documents in order to ensure that the equipment qualifies.
  • To independently identify sales potential in the region & develop the base business.
  • Order Process Management involving order-entry, obtaining technical approval from customer, advising the container loading plan, guiding the customer regarding the mode/terms of the payment (usually L/C or Avalised Draft), payment follow-up, keeping track of the shipping documents and the shipment till it reaches the customer. Above all, efficient and timely co-ordination between customer and the factory.
  • Review product pricing and gross margin goals for entire range of equipment.
  • To effectively co-ordinate the Equipment Performance Testing at Factory (Malaysia) in the presence of Clients/Consultants and 3rd party inspection specialists.
