As a senior analyst for Capstone Strategic, a boutique investment bank and management consulting firm focusing on external growth activities (M&A) for middle-market clients, Mr. Grant facilitated strategy sessions with key executive teams and analyzed financial, qualitative and quantitative data to develop a strategic road map for realignment of a $1B travel services company.

He represented a $1B energy client, initiating discussions with C-level executives of privately-held and publicly traded companies on the potential divestiture of energy assets.He developed the offering memorandum for a 46-year old utility automation systems OEM and worked with a $75M AEC firm to identify new markets to expand into (via acquisitions).

  • Conducted pricing analysis of several competing mortgage lenders, creating future vision architecture to expedite deliver of new products and services to market while meeting client’s cost and risk reduction strategies

American Medical Labs, Inc.

Served as project team leader for AML's rollout of their new diagnostic application client.

  • Established a testing environment for creating the baseline system configuration and installation sequence of the program; helped developed the end-user training component of the new system.

  • Evaluated remote-control solution (NetOp- Crosstec); recommended solution for purchase; prepared production servers for Y2K certification; designed configuration matrix for new clients; trained IM staff on server build (Compaq 2500 IIS3.0, Proxy 2.0, FrntPg2000); provided on-site and remote technical support to NGB user community.


Client:     United States Postal Service- Tactical Sales and Marketing Division

Position: Business Systems Analyst

  • Evaluated RAS(NT) and NetServer(3com) for remote network access; proposed & developed end-user training strategy utilizing CBT technology; provided NT4 and Netware 4.11 administration for 350-userbase.

Client:     KPMG Peat Marwick LLP – Mid-Atlantic Region

Position:  cc:Mail & Network Administrator

  • Analyzed & diagrammed (VISIO) existing ccMail infrastructure; provided Netware 4.11 administration for local office (500+ users); provided daily email administration support to 3300 userbase.
