Design leader on reconfiguration of chemical demilitarization spaces and systems, collaborating with engineers and cad design colleagues on methods and standards while in the production of deconstruction documentation. Supported management team's presentation efforts.

Led a team of architects, interior designers, engineers and land planners in the coordination and production of Design Development drawings for a Continuum Care Retirement Community (CCRC) project located in Pennsylvania.I provided a collaborative leadership style for a large, multi-disciplined team of professionals, liasing with the owner and developer as a regular practice, keeping communications clear.
oOrganized in-house project teams along with consultants to foster the greatest possible communications in order that 4 major and different building type documents could be completed on schedule.
oManaged schedules and worked along side Sr. Associate in monitoring budgeting, invoicing and contracts of all consultants.

Makemie Ridge CCRC
Led the Design Development effort for a $135M, multi-building community for client, Presby’s Inspired Life.Located in Westown Township, PA. the entire 97 acre development was comprised of 47 villas (Single Family Homes); 210 apartment units spread over two, 5 story buildings with a parking garage below grade, a 74,000 s.f., 3 story assisted living, skilled nursing and dementia healthcare building with 74 units; and a 76,000 s.f., 2 story clubhouse.

Collaborated with and supported the Real Estate and Construction entities and provided design solutions for in-house projects and management of 3rd party architects on other projects.Coordinated the design direction for all projects with the project architecture group, ensuring correct understanding and implementation of design intent into the contract documents package. Provided value engineering and recommended design direction to Real Estate to aid in bringing projects in line with desired pro formas.
oGenerated designs for spec. office and industrial buildings for in-house Real Estate client, enabling them to reduce design and construction documentation costs by consistent, “next door” communications with the client and the construction group.

Suwanee Speculative Office Project
Lead design architect and manager for a 5 story (143,000 rentable square feet) speculative office building.Facilitated all design efforts directly with the Real Estate and Construction groups, working side by side with the construction project manager on this $40M project.
Designed one story speculative industrial, cross dock building located in Tennessee. Size: 720,000 sq. ft.
Royal 85 BusinessCenter Project
Worked with a team to design four, one story speculative industrial, rear load buildings.Sizes: 112,000 sq. ft., 124,000 sq. ft., 132,000 sq .ft., 147,000 sq. ft. respectively.
Morningside Mixed Use Project
A retail and residential mixed use project wrapping 3 sides of a four level parking deck.Size:Approximately 400,000 sq. ft. - 300 apt. units with approx. 35,000 sq. ft. of retail.

Assisted in the development of a $68M complex 200,000 sq. ft. facility that included a Visitor Center, Museum, Conference facilities, Information Center, Television production spaces, including two T.V. production studios, related office spaces and an 1,100 car parking deck.Major contributor to all phases of the project from benchmarking and schematic design through construction and substantial completion over a 4 year time frame.
Designed primary circulation connectivity concept for the multiple buildings of the CDC project.This enabled the end product to convey a distinctive circulation spine that is evident in the exterior design.Managed construction administration and quality assurance duties for the 200,000 sq. ft. CDC project while stationed on site for 2 years.This service influenced the client to request the same management services on additional construction projects.
Mall of Georgia Project
Successfully worked on a $48M project for Simon Properties and Ben Carter Properties to design a 1.4 million sq. ft. indoor shopping mall with attached food court and adjoining “village” shopping component spanning a 2 1/2 year concept to completion cycle. Team lead for construction administration services including QA/QC. Coordinated consultants and engineers services throughout all phases of the project.

Solely produced contract drawing set, developing details, as well as collaborated with other in-house personnel in producing drawings.Coordinated Structural, M.E.P. and Civil consultants work to produce drawing documents. During my tenure there I worked on an industrial facility for an unnamed client as well as a 15 story high rise for the Fifth/Third Bank in Ohio.

Worked as a summertime project architect between graduate school semesters on a gymnasium facility addition for Life College in the metro Atlanta area. I produced contract documents, fleshing out details, sections and plans.

Master of Architecture
Thesis Project was to assist in the revitalization of the blighted Summerhill neighborhoods that surrounded the former Fulton County Stadium in the downtown section just south of the City of Atlanta. This was accomplished through the reuse of the stadium site and turning it into a Community Recreation Facility and park for Summerhill.
Spent one semester of graduate school work in Genova, Italy.
