Summer 2015

Clinical rotation emphasizing on primary eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, low vision, as well as anterior segment disease including dry eye management, kerataconus, and ocular surface disease. Worked closely with Dr. Stubinski and a limited time with Dr. Bruce Wick to attain knowledge in practice management and billing for a private practice.

Clininal rotation emphasizing on ocular pathology within a low income community. Patient diagnosis and management primarily with posterior segment disease with an emphasis on glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular degeneration and cataract post-operative care. Performed all testing including Optomap, OCT cirrus, visual fields, fundus photography, B-scan, A-Scan, Specular microscopy, and anterior segment OCT.

  • Optometrist providing comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. Prescribing spherical, toric, multifocal, and monovision lenses. Diagnosing and properly referring patients with underlying conditions. Focus on treating dry eye in the Colorado community.
