I have a genuine interest in community and helping families. I volunteer some of my free time working for better communities. Currently, I volunteer with children ministries, organize an annual community yard sale that benefits local non profits and am working with Denver Hospice to start volunteering in March. I am very interested in helping people make their last days comfortable, fun and meaningful.
I have received a scholarship to earn my CNA certification and education through a local resource center. I will be starting this course in February and will continue with Emily Griffith Opportunity School to become an LPN. I am already working as a personal care provider and am very committed to becoming a CNa and LPN.
I received my education and license in Massage Therapy. I worked for myself and built a practice in New Mexico before moving to Colorado. I used mostly medical massage to help my client identify and reach health goals. I taught body mechanics, stretching and stress management to help them reach and maintain their goals.
