Executive level position in Healthcare Supply Chain/ Supply Cost Management

Summary

My Supply Chain experience began at entry level over 20 years ago in the U.S. Navy.  I consistently seek out knowledge of all functions in a firm to understand the company globally, which has enhanced my advancement throughout my career.  I enjoy breaking down silos and understanding how my role impacts other aspects of the organization.  Aside from my strong Supply Chain background in healthcare,  my lack of hesitance to ask, "why do we do things this way," has led to great operations improvements over the years.

I also possess a very flexible management style that enables me to deal with a very diverse staff.  Since assuming my current role our employee satisfaction scores came from the very bottom of our division and now consistently remain among the top.  In that same time, our turnover ratio went from well over 1.0 to ZERO.

As a father of four, I have learned the importance of deploying firm patience and fairness in my every day dealings.  I have yet to make a decision that I would hesitate to explain to the most precious people in my life.  My operations experience, passion for the Supply Chain, interpersonal skills and my ability to balance compassion for people and the interests of the company render me a perfect candidate.
