A current student at Edinburgh Napier University undergoing a BA (Hons) degree in Festival, Events and Hospitality Management. My work experience shows I have been interested in this specific industry from an early age.
Customer Service: Having a strong customer service background I understand the importance of excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Teamwork/Leadership: When participating in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Expedition, we were required to work in small teams. As group leader it was my responsibility to resolve any conflicts within the group, and ultimately make sure that everyone was happy whilst making sure all the tasks at hand were being achieved.
Conflict Management: Whilst working in a hospitality focused role at Drumossie Hotel I was often required to deal with challenging customers; I utilised my excellent communication skills and responded with an empathetic disposition to resolve difficult situations.
