Responsible for the overall management, staffing and operations of Peninsula School of Art. Provide leadership necessary to fulfill the artistic mission and to meet the organizational goals of fundraising, financial stability and long-term capital needs. Develop annual balanced operating budgets and oversee the planning and execution of fundraising and marketing strategies. Identify and cultivate major donors. Oversee curriculum development and set standards for artistic quality. Through an effective communications program, promote the Art School community of students, volunteers, faculty members and art patrons; and collaborate with other arts organizations in community outreach.

Key Contributions and Accomplishments:

Successfully facilitated  Conceived, planned and executed the midwest’s largest plein air (outdoor) painting festival, attracting 40 nationally-recognized artists annually. Grossed over $275K annually in 2005-2011 and increased net revenue by 100% in 2011.

Raised $1.1M for property acquisition and capital expenditures

Established organizational budget of 750K, and exceeded budget goals in 2005-2010.
