Successfully prepared the newly hired staff of six new Barnes & Noble Booksellers stores in Orlando, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Falls Church, Virginia, Georgetown, DC, and Reston Virginia, for retail operations from empty shelves to day-to-day operations.

  • Analyzed the extensive training manual created by Barnes & Noble and broke it down to the key elements required to be functional within their individual positions as quickly as possible.
  • Served as a technical resource working with the New York office when troubleshooting the software running the “master/slave” computer system.

Provided exceptional customer service and support so that loans could get approved and closed in a timely manner. This included pulling personal and business credit reports, ordering appraisals, pulling flood certifications, and coordinating with attorneys, title companies and borrowers

  • Designed, created and delivered loan presentations for, twice weekly, loan committee meetings.

Collaborated with several federal agencies to produce customized training plans, guides, and ongoing documentation.

  • Lead trainer and curriculum delivery specialist conducting training for multiple government agencies, including the EPA and Census bureau.
  • Coordinated the installation and testing of two twelve-workstation classrooms to conduct Lotus Notes training for the US Census bureau; leading up to the 2000 census.
  • Conducted business analysis, and built customized applications, for EPA offices, located nationwide, determining their workflow for the “paperless office” initiative.

Designed, developed, and delivered the current instructor-led customer training program.  This was accomplished through customer needs analysis to achieve a solid understanding of program use and on-site launch. Led the LMS implementation project and manage ongoing innovation and new functionality for external customer use.

  • Conduct business analyses of current organizational practices of governmental offices and alarm monitoring central stations which includes information technology and cost needs assessment
  • Provide expertise and deliver global on-site and virtual training using GoToMeeting or GoToWebinar

Assisted customers through the data conversion process by defining their needs, analyzing their existing data and offering solutions to make their data convert in the cleanest form possible to take advantage of the new software features.

Assisted more than 100 customer sites transfer from their existing alarm monitoring software platform to our company's software.
