Volunteer Bike Mechanic and Organizer 

San Jose Bike Clinic
  • Began a volunteer bike mechanic, educated people who could not afford a bike shop's services for bike repair.
  • As one of the few volunteer's with bike shop experience, also taught other volunteers.  
  • Assisting the non-profit SJBC as a mechanic and in a leadership position.
  • Assisted the SJBC in filming for its Kickstarter campaign, as well as assisting in the selection of "Perks" and organizing their distribution throughout California.

  • Responsible for monthly maintenance of the San Jose State Event center mechanical spaces.
  • Able to fix backlogged requests and after hiring, we were ahead of schedule at the end of each month.
  • Worked independently for the majority of the job.
  • Knowledge of tools and of electricity was required, as well as mechanical skills and the ability to solve problems.

  • Worked as an intern mechanic for Golden Spoke Bike Shop, learning about bikes and tools, as well as developing a passion for cycling and repairing bikes.
