Obstetrician and Gynecologist

Dr. Carrie Carda, Private Practice

Dr. Carrie Carda is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist for 14 years, Dr. Carda is an expert in women’s health care. In this role, she has become an advocate for women’s health, researching and studying the issues women face daily: obesity, aging, stress and sleep issues. Dr. Carda’s initial medical training is in traditional western medicine, but she believes it’s important to pursue a proactive, preventative approach to enjoy optimal health. Because in 2003, her then-five year old daughter became deaf after an illness. Her daughter, Taylor, received a cochlear implant, and then spent three years relearning how to hear and communicate. Taylor’s story has a happy ending, and Dr. Carda wants to help others have happily-ever-afters, too, by teaching them to be prevent the disease path through natural factors such as nutrition, adequate rest, stress reduction and an active life style. To equip herself to help others even more, Dr. Carda plans on a completion of a Masters degree in Regenerative Medicine and Nutrition in May of 2012.
