The Wellness Program

Done during the Community Nutrition rotation had a goal to teach Garden City parents of low-income Hispanic children about the childhood obesity and how to prevent it since in the State of Georgia and especially in Chatham County there is an obesity problem which is affecting their health .The plan was to meet at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana located en 1 Gamble Road, Savannah, GA, for two consecutive Wednesdays at 7 PM in the month of February to conduct the presentations.
