Voted as one of America’s Top Dentists in 2009, Dr. Carmen Schuller has been providing exceptional care for patients in the New York City area since 1997. Graduating from New York University’s College of Dentistry in 1979, she earned her Doctor of Dental Science. After obtaining her degree, Dr. Carmen Schuller started working as part of a dental group in 1987 until she opened her own private practice a decade later.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Carmen Schuller also teaches a few specialty classes on advanced dental training subjects. With a commitment to staying current in her field, Dr. Schuller is involved with several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation, the Advisory Board of the NYIT School of Health Professions, and the Behavioral Life Sciences Physicians Advisory Board.
Dedicated to improving communities locally and worldwide, Dr. Carmen Schuller earned Certificates of Recognition for her work with organizations such as Cancer Care, Inc., and the SNAP Student Foundation. She also supports the American Cancer Society and the Central Park Conservatory Garden. Seeking ways to make a difference in the lives of others, Dr. Schuller started her own nonprofit organization, US U.S., Inc., which aims to help re-establish the manufacturing of goods such as furniture and clothing in the United States. By encouraging Americans to create their own businesses to manufacture these goods, she believes the organization will help to improve the domestic economy and lower unemployment nationwide.
