Mechanical engineer with a strong knowledge in customer relationships. Looking to be part of a company where allow me to perform a technical or commercial functions associated with mechanical equipment or process related to them, in addition, to have the opportunity to increase and apply the knowledge and professional expertise in any field of the industry. My biggest background is related to the Oil and Gas Industry but is not a limitation for start in a new filed or sector of industry.
TSSE for Colombia. Some tasks performed in this period were: Manage and promote sales of solids control equipment and shakers screens for drilling rigs in Colombia through quotes, tenders, etc. Conduct commercial and technical presentations for customers with the purpose to show them the products, their advantages and benefits in the industry. Following in detail each client and provide them solutions regarding to their needs, in a post-sale service. Manage the spares parts; screens and equipment inventories for cover all operations in the country. Some achievements: Sales above USD $1.5 MM during this period, Contracts obtained with 2 drilling contractors for replace old solids control equipment, Total= 6 drilling rigs. Training for customers and internal staff. High rotation of inventories.
TSSE for Latin America. Some functions performed were: Customer training in the region about solids control equipment and shaker screens for drilling rigs. Following customers in the region and provide them technical and commercial support through visits or calls. Performed evaluations through a Vibratory System Analysis Test program (VSAT) in the primary solids control equipment and shakers screens of different brands in the drilling rigs, and find solutions to the specific problems of the activity. Coordinate and evaluate the performance test of shaker screens on drilling rigs. Instructor of VSAT program for internal staff of Schlumberger in Latin America. Participate in different congress of oil industry regionally and globally(such as OTC Houston, OTC Brazil, O&G Colombia and HOLA) in order to promote and publicize the progress in the new technologies products and their benefits. Achievements: Purchasing contracts of solids control equipment and shakers screens with different customers in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru(offshore) and Venezuela, exceeding USD $2.0 MM. Technical and Commercial training presentations for customers in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. Technical training for internal staff(more than 100 people in total) in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. Participate in new technology equipment's installation in the offshore drilling rigs in Brazil.
Some functions performed related with this position were: Design and apply mechanical criteria for manufacturing process related to electrical transformers using design software(CAD). Evaluate and design the pressure vessels for electrical transformers. Accomplishments: 3D model of mono-phase and three-phase electric transformers. Create a 3D bank(CAD) for all pieces and components of electric transformers. Corrections of some details in the transformer's vessels manufacturing process.
Evaluate the basic, conceptual and detail engineering of mechanical equipment related with power generation industries, refineries, and others oil and gas projects. Select and evaluate through data sheets and drawings, the different rotary equipment for oil and gas industry, specially centrifugal pumps, progressive cavity pumps, among others.
