President and Founder
As a freshman at LSU I created SoleSisters, starting as a philanthropy event offered to all sorority women, in order to support Girls on the Run of Greater Baton Rouge. During the following two years the idea grew to become an official LSU student organization with 300 members, raising more than $3,200 in the current year for Girls on the Run of Greater Baton Rouge. The organization inspires sorority women to train for and run The Louisiana Half-Marathon, while promoting the values of confidence, self-respect, healthy lifestyle and service.
As President and Founder of SoleSisters of LSU I have developed leadership and management skills to oversee 20 Chapter Liaisons and the Executive Board. My experience also includes creating and managing the website, social media accounts and monthly events for the organization.
