It is when children play, they learn most about the world around them. By arranging environments which support activities they are interested in, leaning can be maximized. By observing the children, activities can be planned based on their interests and their development level. Outdoor play is critical for healthy development and is needed daily. Children also need a stable relationship with their primary care giver. I am committed to professional development by increasing my knowledge and skills in providing quality care for all children.

I completed observations weekly on children. I looked at their social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional development. I planned monthly curriculum based on the interest of the children in my group.
Mar 2007 - Sep 2008
I started in the 12-18 month room. I then moved to a new room with the children when they all turned 18-36 months. I then planned new activities for them. Having communication with the primary care giver is essential.
