Developing systems is my passion, I am fascinated by software development as well as its surrounding technologies, I have a keen eye for design and work best in a creative team that is able to communicate and collaborates well.

Klick Health is the worlds largest global independently owned pharmaceutical agency. As part of my role at Klick, I lead Digital Experience Platforms, focused on Adobe Experience Cloud, Acquia, Wordpress VIP and Contentful, I bring the best-in-breed technology and MARTECH stacks, custom crafted to the Pharma world, for the phase the client is currently in. I frequently partner with technology vendors to drive a future-proof stack with growth in mind.
Consulting experience as part of Wunderman\MSC, I spent three months in New York to assist Red Fuse in defining "Business-as-usual" practises, workflows and engagements post AEM migration.
Aside from providing development and technical lead consultancy for new projects, I also created and delivered bespoke training materials for designers, developers, content authors and project managers to over 300 people throughout the business in multiple sessions within various locales and timezones.
Development, design and architecture of AEM, Adobe Cloud as well as bespoke backend solutions for clients in the private banking, insurance, eCommerce, healthcare and telecoms sectors.
As well as being involved in the training and mentoring of junior developers, I am also responsible for the: reviewing of code; liaison between project management and development teams; management of service delivery; pricing models as well as bespoke client system specifications and implementation.
I also frequently attend training sessions, client requirement meetings and communicate with clients directly in order to push systems to be better suited to the ever-changing requirements of a diverse and growing client base.
Responsible for the backend design, specification, documentation and development of core PHP Laravel MVC based API (Mallguide platform) for in-house eCommerce system focusing on the shopping mall sector.
Software developer, responsible for the design, creation and maintenance of Java, C++ and PHP based mass billing email applications built on Linux platforms as well as bespoke products for clients based in the telecoms, banking, security, multimedia, investment, industrial, retail and property industries.

Head of technology on the project, ensuring delivery between multiple teams co-located from various countries and disciplines for the 2018 revamp of the Standard Bank South Africa website which introduced a fully responsive website with a marketing focused "online store" and optimised digital experience.
Wunderman won a silver new generation award for "Best corporate website".

Investec: MoreThanData Mar 2017 – Dec 2018
Technical Lead on the project, responsible for technical delivery on the Investec MoreThanData campaign which was an initiative for young professionals acquisitions. The campaign ran in several phases throughout the year and involved multiple technology approaches such as websites, social media campaigns and Facebook chatbots. Investec was nominated for a Loerie award and was given a craft certificate for the campaign.

AEM Technical Lead for the Investec.com site migration, frontend and backend component build and architecture setup from CQ 5.6 to AEM 6.1 for 11 international regions.
The software development route exposes students to real world scenarios and gives them extensive practical experience in, a database language and two major programming languages; one as a main language and the second as an introduction to another language.
The curriculum also includes a main operating system, sufficient hardware theory and practical assignments to carry out repairs and troubleshooting and some background in creating web pages.
