I am a graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications studies with a concentration in Organizational Communications and Public Relations.

I am currently looking for employment in public relations and media relations management. Although my interest lies in public relations I also have skills in business management, and event planning. I have taken classes in organizational communication, public relations, crisis communications, research writing and ethical communications to name a few.

I have a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize my workload efficiently. I am an ambitious perfectionist with an eye for detail, these qualities, when paired with my organizational skills, always enable me to reach success. I also have extensive experience working with social media, such as running the Social Media department at a popular vineyard in Virginia and creating and managing the Pinterest page for Hampden-Sydney College. I understand the groundswell and how it can be used for the organization’s advantage.

·Developed and maintained the College’s Pinterest account, growing the number of

followers from 7 to 216 followers in six months

·Assist with the organization of more than 20 College events, notably Graduation, Opening and Final Convocation, and Board of Trustee weekends

I was the special events intern for Keswick Vineyards. I assisted the brides in planning their wedding, I gave tours of the venue to prospective couples. I was asked to create and present a cause marketing campaign for the Vineyard which I did successfully. I also assisted in the Tasting Room.
