Box Hill High School

Elected prefect for 2016 in October 2015, began my duties as a prefect during that time by volunteering and taking part in canteen duty. Prefects take lunches and recesses off to help at the canteen selling food and ensuring that sales go smoothly and efficiently.

Duke of Edinburgh - Bronze, Silver, Gold

Duke of Edinburgh Award

A long term award that requires participants to take part in three different sections (Skills, Physical Recreation and Volunteering) for a minimum of one hour a week. This can go on for 3, 6 and 12 months for each respective level Bronze, Silver, and Gold. I have completed my Bronze and Silver award and am currently undertaking my Gold. Participating in the Duke of Edinburgh award has helped me organize and manage my time efficiently whilst still having time for school work.

Student Representative Council Member - Vice President

During year 9 I was a regular member contributing to discussion and going to World Vision's Youth Conference in 2013. Year 10 and 11 I was Vice President, helping the president with leading discussions and also holding meetings. I took part as an overseer in many school projects such as fundraising through our sports and swimming carnivals.

Peer Support Leader

As part of the peer support program I was one of the leaders who looked after a group of year 7's and was also selected to attend the year 7 camp. I helped my year 7 students fit into high school and was there as someone who they could talk to throughout the entire year.

Lightmare Studios Traineeship Program

Lightmare Studios

Successfully completed a trainee-ship program for a certificate III in information digital media and technology. A part of the process was to spend a day at Box Hill Tafe as well as working 7 hours of paid work a week for a total of 27 weeks (189 hours). I fulfilled all work requirements competently before each deadline and received feedback from my employers and trainers indicating that the quality was higher then they expected.

World Challenge Participant - India

World Challenge Expeditions

Currently a participant of a World Challenge Expedition at Box Hill High School. I am going to South India with 15 other students where we will be organising a majority of the trip, we are expected to find employment to fund our trip.
