Paint Process Engineer/Robotic Programmer, Chattanooga, TN Start-up/Commissioning of new robotic paint line(ABB IRC5P-IRB5500). Worked with ABB on setup of conveyor-robot synchronization. RefPos, setup TCP's, robot base frames, conveyor counts per meter, work objects per robot for mirroring and tracking, background tasks, color change and cleaning sequences, etc. Create programs using RobotStudio5 for new paint line(Co2 Cleaning, Flame, Prime, Base and Clear coat). Create RobView5 screens for reading robot data on GUI. Set up of robot delays(trigger on/off, pump delays). Setup of linear curves for accurate fluid flow. Performed trials of programs for color matching, wave scan and film builds at ABB lab in Auburn Hills, MI. Initiate first production run for new paint line. Create dynamic and static spray test programs for start-up.

Find solutions for assembly processes by designing lifting devices and fixtures. Work with main line assembly to drive back quality issues. Created all new Sub assembly visual aids and work standards Substantially reduced defects and injuries by implementing fixtures, and visual aids.
