Direct/advise one partner in the takeover/buyout of Lee’s Collision Repair after second partner abandoned his position in the company, misappropriated funds and tried to sink the business.  After County declined request for a new operating permit, I discovered a loop hole and was able to obtain clearance for a new BAR permit so that a new business could be created.  Operated existing business while securing documentation/banking, details for opening the new business.Maintained focus and emotional state of remaining partner while keeping business operations steady.I created new name of business as well as Logo.

Business Manager/Advisor to the Owner

•Retain legal counsel and attend Attorney meetings.Play integral part in legal battle with former partner from LCR.  Oversee buyout strategy.Prepare legal documents: Pleadings, Powers of Attorney, Real Estate leases, Partnership Dissolution documents.•Maintain casual demeanor while transferring businesses to insure client base remains on board.•Train remaining partner who had no prior administration or business management experience while controlling the day-to-day operations of the office without any staff.•Close out accounting from Lee’s Collision while simultaneously doing bookkeeping for Sacramento Collision.  I provide the accountant with all the numbers for the shop.

•  Solely responsible for the estimates, photographs, delivery, billing and maintenance of the company's largest vendor account.  Noted in 2010 as being the best organized and photographed account in Northern Region by Client's Vendor Management Supervisor.

Lee's Collision Repair

Sole Administrator and Financial Advisor, responsible for all business operations.Review/write and/or approve all contracts/legal correspondence.Train business partners in the areas of finance and administration as it pertains to the Collision Repair Industry.  Negotiate repairs with insurance entities.  Act on behalf of partners as needed.Maintain/create client development.Construct/execute marketing campaigns.

•Researched, wrote, submitted and won bid for 2.3 millon dollar Regional Transit Light Rail Contract.

Introduced in-house bookkeeping program, deciphered two prior year’s receipts/reconciled prior years while maintaining current entries.Met with Accountant to discuss past problems and implemented plans to move forward.Prepared Sales Tax reports, furnished internal financial reports, taught partners how to read them.
