Summary

After six and half years in the U.S. Army, I attended Universal Technical Institute. I started my career with Freightliner of Arizona, as a diesel technician. After three and a half years as a technician, I transitioned into the warranty department. The knowledge I gained as a technician, gave me a great deal of information to grow in my warranty position. The area of my job that I have found to give me the most growth, has been the interactions with our customer base. Working with customers to understand their needs, then utilizing my knowledge to find a solution, is very rewarding.

In the Warranty department, my duties include filing claims manually on-line with manufactures daily, performing claim maintenance in Rental Man, and recording claims sent to manufactures. Communicate with our branches and suppliers to facilitate reimbursement of the warranty claims or re-filling if necessary. I work with over one hundred and thirty manufactures, each with specific instructions on how claims must be filed. Process and track my warranty claims until a resolution has been recorded.  Research and record status of claims older than fifteen days old for weekly claim aging and controller spreadsheets, and assist as needed.

Ensure the trucks are corrected and properly loaded for each satellite prison kitchen for safe transportation. Manage inmates as they load and unload the equipment and products in a safe and efficient manner. Return to various locations as needed when shortages occur during operating hours.

As the Lead, Warranty Administrator, I was responsible for processing claims for our customers and various dealership locations. I serve as a liaison between customers and our company. I also interact with vendors to recover warranty dollars and negotiate disputed claims. I code and reconcile variances on credit memos from various vendors as they relate to the warranty claims. My primary responsibilities are to maintain tracking and reporting of warranty claims, parts, and vendor recovery. When needed I assist the department with other duties as required.
