developmental aide

Finger Lakes DDSO

I have been employed by FLDDSO for 10 years and I have worked in several of the homes with a variety of ages. I really enjoy my job! I am going to miss my family of 10 years but I have decided I needed a change of climate.

I worked with mentally handicap people; while there I helped care and teach them to care and do things for themselves. I found it to be a very challenging job the only reason why I left was to further my career with the State of New York.

Home Health Aide

Genesee Region Home Care

I worked as a home health aide and went into people homes that came home from hospital and still need some help with personal care and grocery shopping. I found this to be a very rewarding job because I meet a variety of people and I feel that I am a people person.

I really like working with the elderly and the mentally handicap people of my community. I have worked for 10 years with my present employer and I have found this to be a very rewarding job. I believe that I am a people person and that I like to care for people that need my help. I am also very good at scheduling, paperwork, filing, and also medications. While at my present employer I am the med liason. The only reason why I am have resigned from Finger Lakes DDSO is because I am relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina on July 18th, 2009.

I am looking for a job similiar to the one I have at the present time. I currently work with mentally handicap adults. I have worked with mentally handicap children and behavioral issues. I find my job very fulfilling. I am SCIP certified and also CPR/First Aid certified. I am seeking employment out of the state of New York, I am relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina on July 18th, 2009. I am hoping to find a job that is as fulfilling as my present job. I really enjoy helping people.
