Oversaw application development, selection, customization, implementation, integration, and support for $1.2B specialty retailer with >1,100 locations in US, Canada Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Supervised 6 direct and 50 indirect reports. Administered budgets up to $20M. Developed strategic plans and goals. Managed portfolio of projects. Led design of technology solutions to meet business groups’ needs.   • Oversaw all EDI project work for $35M SAP installation. Helped complete one of world's first retail SAP implementations on time and within budget. Automated POs and invoices.
  • Led installation of Gentran Server and developed EDI interface between Gentran and SAP.
  • Eliminated paper storage of documents by implementing iXOS electronic imaging software.
  • Increased EDI vendor base from 30 to 400 for POs and invoices, leading to cost reductions due to elimination of data entry clerk positions in A/P department.
