Assisting the teaching staff in delivering the CISCO CCNA Course, which is run over the summer for International, and domestic, students. My duties included; preparing and delivering lectures; preparing and supervising lab work; supervising online and lab based assessments. The main area of focus being Network management and administration.
Assisting patients with activities of daily living, and delivering patient care. I participated as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to assist the nursing and medical teams with ward duties. I was primarily based in Care of the Elderly, as well as in adult medical settings.

We covered computer system development, server administration, database management and administration, software development, network design and configuration, Project management, emerging technologies, and computer systems security. I had to present a paper to the class on computing ethics and the impact of social media. In addition, I gave a 40 minute presentation on transhumanism, which was delivered to 80 students and tutors. My dissertation looked at securing Voice over IP using Virtual Private Networks.
We covered an introduction to networking, software development, object oriented design and development, web development, database development, PC hardware support, computing fundamentals. In addition, we each had to prepare and deliver a 30 minute micro-teach session - I chose to deliver a session on PHP Email. My final year project looked at web server security, and saw me performing a vulnerability assessment for a local business.
We covered manual handling, patient care, wound care and wound healing, medicine distribution, and patient assessment. We also had to undertake three placements each year - mine were in care of the elderly, district nursing, adult medical, acute medical admissions, surgical, and accident and emergency. I was also part of a group presenting a seminar on leg ulceration and prescribed treatment methods - this was given to 70 students, as well as tutors. I had to provide an individual presentation on abdominal aortic aneurysms - given to a class of 35.
We covered organic, inorganic, analytical, and physical chemistry. We also covered an introduction to forensic science, environmental science, petrochemical engineering, and biochemistry.

I have experience preparing lessons, lectures, seminars, labs and group work. I have also got experience in delivering this material to students. Aside from the academic setting, I was responsible for staff training whilst working as a catering manager.
I have worked on Linux based and Windows based servers, however, I have more experience using a linux environment. I have used CentOS, Fedora, RHEL, Windows Server 2008 & 2012. I also have experience using MySQL, Oracle 11 & 12, and Microsoft SQL Servers.
