Who is Chef Bob?

After recently winning 2nd place at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show's "Surf & Turf Chef's Competition" he has solidified his place as one of South Florida's most innovative, cutting edge, locally-focus Chefs. His new restaurant "Cypress on Ocean" in Stuart, Fl has won numerous awards (4, but who's counting) since launching June '19. He had learned from and helped opened a restaurant with Chef Allen Susser and he working as Freelance Chef on Various Motor Yachts. His passion for feeding people healthy food that sustains life has led his interests to range from Scuba diving for lobster and lionfish, to wild foraging native ingredients, to raw lacto-fermentation to house-cured Bottarga Di Muggine. While showcasing his talent through world-wide influences he seamlessly melds our native, seasonal offerings into culinary delight. "It's <3 @ 1st Bite!".            STCW Certified! 

Recent Highlights: 

-James Beard Foundation Chef's Boot Camp Alumni. Trained on issue of food access, food equity and food justice. 

- Slow Food "Chef Liaison" for Gold and Treasure Coast Chapters. Working with Local Farmers, Fishermen and Butchers for the finest Organic products to prepare Life-Giving Cuisine.

Head Chef on M/Y Northland, a Brand-New steel-hulled Berger exploration vessel. Owner said recently "You never cease to amaze me!" and "Everything has been exceptional"

Providing healthy, local, delicious, nutritious, inspired food prepared with 5 Star techniques, at some of the finest venues in S. Fl. We use wild foraged ingredients whenever possible and local and organic when not. Our modus operandi is to find or buy the best ingredients we can and let them shine! To show respect and gratitude for what our farmers and fishermen bring to us and to use it in the most uplifting & inspired way possible. We show love through our food and people love us back for it. Our slogan is multifaceted in that "It's Love At First Bite!"

Summer Sports Camps for Kids


Camp in MI and Camp in NH on 500 Acre Private Island

Served as Head Chef at 2 different Summer Sports Camps for Kids (Same company). 

-Trained, Certified in Safe Food Handling Procedures and Managed teams of over 40 International workers.

-Kids in dining hall would chant "We Love Chef Bob" of their own accord.

Managed all BOH aspects for a 200 seat Organic Restaurant. Created innovative new dishes with accordant cost analysis and pricing/portioning guidelines to achieve profitability.
