Who is Chef Bob?
After recently winning 2nd place at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show's "Surf & Turf Chef's Competition" he has solidified his place as one of South Florida's most innovative, cutting edge, locally-focused chefs. Having learned from and opened restaurants with Chef Allen Susser, he is now Chef/Owner of Food Island Catering Corp. His passion for feeding people healthy food that sustains life has led his interests to range from wild foraging to raw lacto-fermentation to house-cured Bottarga Di Muggine. While showcasing his talent through world-wide influences he seamlessly melds our native, seasonal offerings into culinary delight. "It's <3 @ 1st Bite!".
