 Host of "Renovations", a nationwide television program featuring home renovation projects, for 4 seasons on HGTV (also airing internationally); conducted numerous on-camera interviews with building professionals, architects, designers, developers, contractors; conducted on-camera factory tours/interviews; represented HGTV at industry events, including the bi-annual Television Critics Association Fall line-up event in Pasadena, CA. Performed as a carpenter on "Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls" for 4 seasons on NBC and Discovery Kids; participated in marketing events and live promos, including the 10! Show on NBC and CBS morning news, both in Philadelphia; participated in developing a book for the show.

  Developed preliminary design concepts through design development and construction documentation. Participated in regular design workshops and meetings with multi-discipline design professionals, engineers and city agencies, including PennDOT. Conducted presentations and design charettes with community groups and project steering committees, including PowerPoint presentations and user questionnaires Produced written reports and proposals for RFP's. Provided graphic design and copy writing/proofing for company marketing material.Select Projects: Citizens Bank Park, a $346 million sports stadium project under architects Ewing Cole Cherry Brott and HOK Sport; provided preliminary site design concepts for the parking lot, pedestrian circulation and three major stadium entry plazas. Philadelphia International Airport Master Plan, a $350 million redevelopment project including new International Terminal A, Terminal F, new parking garages and toll plaza; as prime liaison and project manager, met weekly with a multi-disciplinary design team, including airport and Philadelphia Parking Authority executives, and developed preliminary design concepts, advancing them through construction documentation. Route 202 highway realignment project (Montgomery & Bucks Counties, PA), including an approx. 3-mile multi-use trail; produced design concepts for medians, overpasses, noise-walls and a multi-use trail; conducted design charettes and meetings with community groups, a multi-disciplinary design team and PennDOT. Texas Southern University Master Plan (Houston, TX); as prime liaison with the university steering committee and multi-disciplinary planning team, provided preliminary surveys, information gathering and landscape concepts for vehicular/pedestrian traffic and student gathering areas. 60th Street Commercial District Master Plan (West Philadelphia); as project manager, developed preliminary streetscape concepts; conducted public and steering committee meetings. Martin Luther King Plaza Community Development Project (South Philadelphia), a $40 million urban housing project; as project manager, provided design concepts for the central community park, streetscapes and residential front/rear yards.

  Managed a small staff of landscape design professionals, admin staff and construction crews in designing and building various landscape projects throughout Sydney. Developed design projects from site analysis through concept stage and to construction documentation/ administration, including coordinating various artisans and multi-disciplinary teams. Produced cemetery master plans, including extensive site inventory, tree surveys and assessment, and documentation of master plan reports and graphics. Conducted design presentations and charettes with school boards, steering committees and cemetery board of directors. Project construction and supervision.Selected Projects: "Gethsemane" at Macquarie Park Cemetery, a $550,000 lawn burial area based upon the Catholic Stations of the Cross; as project manager, advanced this project from concept stage through to construction documentation, including preparing presentation graphics for marketing purposes and working closely with a renowned Sydney sculptor; the finished project was officially unveiled by the Archbishop of Sydney in 2000. Macquarie Park Cemetery Masterplan; as Senior LA, managed a staff of junior landscape designers in conducting an extensive site and vegetation survey, vehicular/pedestrian circulation patterns and land-use analysis. The finished report included planning recommendations and concepts for future cemetery expansion and identified revenue opportunities. "Circle of Love" Memorial at Rookwood Independent Cemetery; as project manager, developed this project from concept stage through to construction documentation. I also worked closely with various artisans and contractors to design and build custom furniture and unique memorial plaque fixtures.
