Volunteer Experience


League Organizer

Disc NY
  • Run leagues in both the spring and fall, each with more than 150 adult participants. These leagues are the primary funding source for youth Ultimate (frisbee) in New York City.
  • Work within city bureaucracy to acquire field space to run these leagues.
  • Manage a group of volunteer captains to ensure leagues run smoothly.
  • Plan end of year parties to thank both volunteers and players.
