Currently Regional Vice President for Sales for Dell Systems’ Northeast Healthcare Division, Bruce Cattie earned his undergraduate degree in finance in 1983 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While in school, he served as Chapter President of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. After graduation, Cattie joined the sales force of the Xerox Corporation and met or exceeded sales goals every year. In his five years with the legacy document handling company, Bruce Cattie consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of a sales force of over 4,000; in two of those years, his results earned him membership in the company’s President’s Club. After his impressive performance with Xerox, Bruce Cattie joined McKesson Corporation, the pharmaceuticals giant that was developing into a leader in the medical technology field. As a Senior Sales Executive in the Enterprise Sales Organization, he pioneered the company’s entry into the northeast market by selling the first eight installations of McKesson’s new Hospital Information System in Maine, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Cattie met or exceeded sales goals for each of his eight years with the Enterprise Sales Organization. In 1994 and 1996, his results were more than double his goals, and he ranked second and first, respectively, in the entire company. Cattie's leadership and business acumen were recognized in 1997, when McKesson promoted him to Vice President of the National Accounts Organization, charging him with responsibility for nurturing the growth of a start-up division. In addition to building a thriving new team with a business plan designed to produce $20 million+ in annual revenues, he closed the division’s largest software transaction with a contract value of over $15 million. Bruce Cattie was a Senior Sales Executive for Perot Systems Corporation when Dell Systems acquired the company in late 2009. He contributed significantly to the transition by driving the integration of the Perot products and services that he was responsible for into the Dell organization. Bruce Cattie currently manages a team of 10 business development and sales professionals serving primarily the health system and academic medical center marketplace in the 14-state area of the northeastern US.
