Inovaware Website

• Self-learned Microsoft development and individually architected and implemented the first version of the system.
  
• Built a ORM database abstraction layer to allow the core system to transparently use both SQL Server and Oracle to target different market segments.
  
• Implemented a parallelized distributed processing architecture to allow the system to scale to 10M+ customer bases with full transactional integrity.
• Created an intelligent UI framework with dynamic form generation to simplify the UI implementation and maintenance.

• Built an international money transfer platform targeting business clients in Hapi.js including a customer UI, merchant management UI, bank management UI, and full secure API running in Amazon Web Services.
  
• Implemented a real-time, cloud-scale web hook callback mechanism triggered by database updates using Amazon SNS and Amazon Lambda.
• Created an online loan application system targeting the Indian market with Hapi.js and MongoDB.
• Prototyped a peer-to-peer international money transfer mobile application for both iOS and Android using Meteor.

Created an opt-in social media platform for Facebook and Twitter in Sails.js to help organizations amplify their message by leveraging the social feeds of their followers.  Successfully deployed the system with RangDe, Sankara Eye Foundation, Overseas Volunteer for a Better India, and Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations.

• Integrated with the Facebook and Twitter APIs to retrieve friends and followers, automate posting of messages, and monitor views, comments, and replies.
• Created a set of Web widgets that could be dropped into a client website to enable followers to connect their social media accounts and manage their connection options.
• Implemented an internal link-shortening system to track click-throughs in real-time with full reporting of the source post, follower, and social media channel.
• Built a responsive administrative UI to create and schedule social media posts and monitor results through an executive dashboard with drill-down to view the details of each post and follower.
  

Built a complete real estate brokerage website in Ruby on Rails that provided clients access to broker-level property data with detailed property search, saved profiles and favorites, and immediate property update notifications.

• Dynamically generated content targeting long-tail keywords to drive SEO traffic and push brokerage to top 10 position within two years.
• Integrated with the Multiple Listing Service RETS API to automatically retrieve updated property information for storage into a PostgreSQL database for quicker response and improved querying.
• Improved the customer experience by enhancing Multiple Listing Service property data with tax data from the Hawaii tax system after normalizing the data and address representations.
• Implemented a tracking system to determine a user's interests from their activity on the website and then used this information to send the user relevant property updates to improve response rates by over 50%.
• Built a complete mobile web UI usable under iOS, Android, and Windows Phone that duplicated the capabilities of the desktop website in under three weeks.
