Therapeutic Horse Riding Fundraiser & Leader/Side Walker

Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center

I support therapeutic horse riding for people with special needs at the FCTRC as Volunteer Leader and Side Walker during its weekly lessons. During the winter period and outside the lessons, I help riding and exercising the horses.

For the FCTRC I am also active as fundraiser. At this present moment I support the organization of the benefit auction 'Save A Horse, Hire A Cowboy' on March 25th, as well as the two-yearly 'Art From The Heart' benefit auction that will take place in the second half of this year. In particular I help with raising donations, designing flyers, the event page on their website, video production and press relations.

At United Campaings I was Acount Manager for Mattel, Danone, Cadburty Biscuits and Tedley Tea, managing product launches and TV commercial campaigns for Barbie, Evian and Tedley Tea in Moscow, St Petersburg and across the Russian Federation.

I founded Storytellers World Wide as an outlet for knowledge sharing and a way to boost creative communications and leadership in both SMEs and larger internationally operating organizations, with the help of Storytelling techniques and Social Media.

With Storytellers World Wide I provided Training, Communication Concepts, Strategic Advice, Social Media Programs, CSR Support and New Leadership ideas.

Notable projects I provided communication and social media services to are: Dutch Design Days in Belgium (2008), Benelux Architecture (2010) and Orange Bike Days (2011). These were are so-called 'Nation Branding' initiatives from The Netherlands Embassy in Brussels.

Another notable project is the Facebook concept I developed for the Dutch dairy union NMV (Nederlandse Melkveehouders Vakbond).

As Regional Director for West Sweden, I founded the Dutch Chamber of Commerce office in Gothenburg in 2007 by setting up a network of Dutch and Swedish business contacts, organising networking and knowledge exchange events and creating a regional online presense and agenda on the Dutch Chamber in Sweden website.

My job for the European Commission, DG Information Society was three-fold:

1. Managing the Internal Communicators Network within DG Information Society

2. Managing the Framework Contract for Communication Services, in particular the Visual & Verbal Identity project and production of Fact Sheets for various Research Projects

3. Coördinating and attending the stand build and media relations for DG Information Society at expo TELECOM '99 in Geneva.
