Brian Newmark of Villanova, PA (Suburban Philadelphia) is an accomplished restauranteur and entrepreneur with proven and highly successful expertise in areas such as: business development, public relations, marketing, brand management and development, reputation management, search engine optimization (SEO), social media promotion, pay-per-click (PPC) and sales expertise.
In 2002 Brian Newmark began utilizing the Internet as a primary tool for marketing. For more than a decade Brian has honed his skills allowing him to stay at the forefront of marketing strategies in today's digital age where Internet based campaigns are critical. Brian's ability to both develop the marketing message and means of reaching the audience, while at the same time possessing the ability to execute the program set him apart from many who can do one or the other.
From 1999-2008 Brian Newmark was President and CEO of a large marketing company with sales exceeding $60mm annually. On a daily basis, Brian was challenged to provision solutions to highly complex operational, technological and process problems. This experience cannot be taught in classroom, he refers to it as a Street MBA. Newmark sold his interest in the company to pursue digital marketing full time.
Today Brian Newmark is sought out by Executives, Entrepreneurs, and High Profile Individuals throughout the world for his critical thinking skills as well as his hands-on approach for driving results. In 2014, Brian Newmark launched his newest endeavor, Naan Ventures, Inc., with the goal of becoming the largest operator of Indian restaurants in the Philadelphia region. The first acquisition was Tandoor India, a University City icon established in 1991. For the first quarter of 2015, the team launched a new build location in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia under the Tandoor India brand. Being a blank canvas build out, Newmark and his partners were able to utilize an open kitchen model which is popular with diners today. The Fishtown location is also suitable for larger events, parties, and outdoor dining. In the Summer of 2015, the aggressive expansion plans continued with the take over of a 150 seat Indian restaurant in Collegeville, PA. The location was rebranded under the Tandoor India name. This being a suburban location brings new opportunities for catering in Philadelphia's Western suburbs as well as in-house parties for groups up to 150 people. As of 12/2016 Brian Newmark divested all of his restaurant holdings. The old saying about location location location proved true for Newmark's portfolio.
What is next for Newmark? Stay tuned, glad you asked. As if running multiple companies from the back of an Indian restaurant wasn't enough, in 2015 Newmark joined a partnership to develop specialty housing. Site location, survey, and interest analysis took a year, but the project has been given a green light. When the ground thaws out in early Spring of 2017, construction will begin on what is planned to be 475 new single family homes. Stay tuned....
