Extensive global experience as a GM/President in complex and highly engineered Aerospace & Defense product and systems businesses. Conntinually increasing P&L experience beginning with $100M and culminating over $1.2B. Led a $700+M P&L as an expatriate in the U.K. and have significant International JV experience as a Board Member on JV's in four different countries. Tremendous M&A experience evaluating many properties and completing three acquisitions with total acquisition capital of $450M+.
1990 - 1997
Experience in sales, marketing and manufacturing operations with the Aircraft Tire division of Michelin. Continually increasing responsibility beginning as the West Coast Regional Sales Manager and then quickly promoted to Plant Manager of the Los Angeles Service Center. Subsequently relocated to North Carolina and served as Director, Marketing and Sales for all aircraft tire product lines worldwide.
1983 - 1990
Joined the USArmy as an Armor officer at Ft. Knox, KY. Honor Graduate (2nd in class) at flight school and then completed the AH-1 transition course before being assigned to Ft. Wainwright, AK. Served as Attack Helicopter platoon leader and Flight Operations Officer. Transferred to Ft. Ord, CA and served as Flight Operations officer, Assistant Battalion Operations Officer, Attack Helicopter Commander and Battalion Logistics Officer (S4). Served as Company Commander in Panama as part of the 7th ID Aviation Task Force. Hand picked to serve as Assistant Brigade Operations Officer for the Aviation OPPLAN development and execution during Operation Just Cause.
