Setup secure FTP sites for our clients to submit HIPPA files to the company’s web servers. Worked with client IT departments to submit electronic insurance HIPPA 834 eligibility files and HIPAA 837 electronic claims submission files.Created a winforms application to read the 834 and 837 HIPAA files, load the file data into a database, and extract the data into a format the FACTS insurance system will load. This system saved the approximately $20,000 a year in data entry costs. Performed a business analysis and sided in the development of a .NET web application to allow our clients to manage their employee’s health benefits and claims saving the company approximately $150,000 a year.
