  • Developing, implementing, and executing registration processes and workflows for all enterprise fundraising and encouragement events
  • Developing and executing communications strategies across a broad range of tactics in support of events goals
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reporting of KPI for each event and related communications strategies and tactics
  • Tracking all incoming revenue from events vs. annual budget Events production


  • Produced, with the Events Team, the most successful Bike the Drive (an annual fundraiser that brings in over 25% of enterprise operating revenue) in the event's 14 year history in memberships sold and donations solicited, and the second-most successful in total participation
  • Implemented the web-based platform for participant registration, including several key changes to content to drive more revenue from memberships and donations
  • Formulated the communications strategy to registered participants; developed and executed the content and outreach
  • Managed a direct report for three months prior to event, as well as pre-event and day-of-event volunteers for participant registration and engagement, as well as event production
  • Developed successful new revenue tracking worksheet (now applied to all events)
  • Worked daily with co-dependent team members to meet and exceed goals in sponsor recruitment and donor development
  • Reported weekly to supervisors, leadership, and board registration progress of ultimately 21,000 participants
  • Implemented and currently executing new registration systems on the Luminate(Blackbaud) platform for two upcoming fundraising events, one of which is inaugural

Commuter Challenge Coordinator

Produced the three most successful campaigns in the 22 year history of Active Trans' annual Bike to Work Week event, the Bike Commuter Challenge(BCC):

  • Implemented new web-based platform, developed all content within application, increased active participation by 1, 300% over previous high, repeated this in 2013 on entirely new vendor-supported platform
  • Effectively leveraged several social media assets, including Facebook, Twitter, and a number of online communities, to help drive participation to record levels
  • Managed a direct report to assist with the execution of the BCC strategic plan
  • Developed programming for team-leader training sessions
  • Planned and executed-directing over 30 sponsoring partners(such as Clif Bar, REI Chicago, and Trader Joe's)-11" Bike Pit Stops," a membership drive in the form of outreach events during Bike to Work Week; new records for recruitment were set in both 2011, 2012, and again in 2013
  • Developed content for and frequently led “ How to Bike to Work” employer seminars
  • Planned, executed, and emceed Team Leader awards parties at Fairmont Hotel Chicago (2011) and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (2012)
  • Forged a strategic partnership with the Delta Institute's“ Chicago Green Office Challenge,” (2013) and developed the inaugural Chicagoland Sustainable Commuting Awards Bash, at which winners of both challenges are honored among invited VIPs of civic and business leadership who are making the case for sustainable commuting options in the Chicago-area
  • Simultaneously scaled-up BCC into a web-driven, sustainable-commutes encouragement & incentive platform, that strives to measurably reduce drive-alone trips, improve air quality, and cut GHG emissions:
    • Managed development of the web application, from RFP formulation through vendor selection to implementation, for the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA, the program sponsor)
    • Developed and managed RTA approval of all content on web application Developed and leads content development for digital/social media assets, email campaigns to multiple audiences to recruit application users
    • Managed day-to-day technical operation of application, including reporting on KPI measures to the RTA
    • Developed Workplace Travel Planning (WTP) consultation model with 4-piece WTP toolkit
