Responsible to function as an "owner." Role is heavily weighted toward fundraising & marketing. Mission is to equip leaders in Central Europe for lives of service. Our field-work is based in Zagreb, Croatia - an area that experienced 45 years of communism and a bloody 5-year war for independence. We have board members in Croatia, Austria, & across the United States. Seeking to  double revenue in my first year.

Comprehensive responsibility - managing all operations & programs for this $2 Million Dollar nonprofit with 2 locations and 50 employees, serving 250 clients.  Improved Medicaid billing and client attendance processes, upgraded computer systems, and improved employee relationship with management.  Served as "Director of Development" initially.  Designed and produced all content, photos, and artwork for a new Arc website, new marketing materials, displays, and signage.  Increased revenue & updated overall fundraising strategies.

Calvary Christian Church & School; Winchester, KY

Chief visionary and primary leader for this $3 Million Dollar organization, resulting in 70% growth over 9 years.  Managed a staff of 85, with 9 direct reports.  Church grew from 650 to 1100 while adding two physical campuses; School grew from 176 to 445.  Launched a coffee house, teen center, and international child sponsorship program.

Executive Pastor & Church Planter

Polaris Christian Church; Brunswick, OH

Handled all business operations while creating and launching this new organization.  Created and filed Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, governance policies, etc.  Negotiated leases, managed a $1 Million Dollar construction project, supervised all accounting, IT, and HR functions.  Church grew from 9 to 400 over six years.

At age 22, began serving fulltime as the Senior Pastor of this 90 year old congregation.  This role provided first experiences working with volunteer governance boards, motivating people, and leading organizations.  The church doubled in size during the 4 years.

Graduated Cum Laude.  Took a double major in Counseling & Communications.  Completed 9 hours toward a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy while still an undergrad student.  Developed a strong understanding of systems theory, interpersonal relationships, human behavior and motivation.

Graduated Cum Laude.  This was a New Testament studies program, focusing on how to effectively bridge the gap between the ancient text and the modern learner.  Strengthened both verbal and written communication skills, ultimately developing into an excellent communicator in both large and small group settings.  Also completed 9 hours toward a PhD in Global Leadership Studies.
