Formed UTC-10 Consulting to better provide customer driven IT services for clients in Hawaii and North America who need strategic planning, industry best practices, modernization and leadership. UTC-10’s charter is to provide world-class services to customers in targeted, short duration projects with minimal overhead, bureaucracy and the expenses of a large consultancy.  Current clients include Hawaiian Airlines, Island Air, City of Grand Rapids Water Department and the Board of Water Supply, City and County of Honolulu.

About Brian McKee, UTC-10 Consulting

As an experienced IT management executive, Brian McKee has achieved extensive success over the course of his 25-year career. In his role as the chief technology officer for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, he fully reworked the IT network, virtualized the servers, and implemented new software for one of the United States’ largest water utilities organizations. He also led the installation of an advanced wireless network that allowed the organization to access voice and imaging data from more than 300 remote sites. While in this position, Brian McKee helped the IT Division become the organization’s top performing group and went on to win national awards for geographic information systems development.

Earlier in his career, McKee successfully created, grew, and sold a software firm in San Diego that developed control programs for clients in the gas and oil industry. Advanced Visual Development was known for implementing product with a next-generation fuel valve and consistently overcame its competition by offering more reasonable pricing.

Utilizing his extensive experience in the industry, McKee currently serves as the president and CTO of UTC-10 Consulting, LLC, in Honolulu. UTC-10 Consulting provides IT operations and strategic planning leadership for limited-duration projects with clients like Island Air and the City and County of Honolulu.
