  • Technical due diligence of all deployable assets
  • Subsea Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and Subsea Equipment Design and Control Systems.
  • End to end project management – Feasibility, planning, DNO negotiations, tendering process, asset deployment, O&M contracts.

Managing multiple capital intensive product development programs and deploying the resulting assets to global operations and having wide exposure to tier 1 customers, suppliers and executive management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development team consisting of mechanical & electrical design engineers, structural engineers, manufacturing engineers across multiple sites, encompassing idea generation, screening, concept testing, business & financial analysis, product & process development. Providing technical support activities to the relevant departments such as procurement, finance and production.
  • Capex management – full assessment and development of new product Capex prior to submission including clear understanding of all detail on business case, development, testing and approval costs, Manufacturing equipment costs and timeline with commercial, procurement, operations, and other cross-functional inputs.
  • Cost down – identify, develop and implement product cost down opportunities through product design, rationalisation or procurement. Testing, qualification, and IEC certification – obtaining necessary product approvals for required markets globally.
  • Knowledge Management - ensure robust and effective Product Data Management (PDM) system implemented across departments encompassing BOMs, Drawings, Engineering Change Notes and Part Approvals for all current and new products.
