Brett Jolly has devoted his time and financial resources to aid the people of Africa. Whether it is through his career or his devotion to a wide array of humanitarian causes, he has sought to better the conditions of those living there. He has consulted to many members of the governments of Tanzania, Namibia and South Africa on development projects and is familiar with national, regional, and local government officials in these countries. Brett Jolly has sought to increase these countries’ industrial, commercial, residential, and tourism sectors to drive economic growth. In Namibia, Brett Jolly assisted in planning and establishing the Swakopmund Waterfront project, a development that included office and retail space, two hotels, and a marina, which was valued at $100 million. Brett Jolly has sought to assist the African people through his championing of various humanitarian and charitable causes. He has also devoted his time and resources to environmental causes such as deforestation and climate change. Brett Jolly includes the Cotlands children’s AIDS hospice in South Africa and Trees for the Future in the Amazon rain forest, Brazil as his favourite charities, whom he regularly donates to. He also works with organizations that create low cost housing strategies for the economically underprivileged and racially marginalized in Brazil, South Africa, and nations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
