While I worked full time, I was also using my GI Bill to get a film degree from Cal State University Fullerton. I was working full time at Masimo Industries during this time. The job experience isn't all related to media, but I did learn a lot about data collection and the importance of accurate records. I studied abroad in Korea and worked an internship at Chosun TV, a cable news outlet in Korea.

Additional Information

I have been on teams much of my life. I played football in high school, but also did choir and was in two musicals. I have a unique ability to relate to people from many different backgrounds thanks to my experience. I've spent time volunteering as a youth soccer and basketball coach, and served as a board member (2 years) and the president (1 year) of a non-profit retreat group. I spent 4 years in the Navy learning about many aspects of broadcast journalism and used the GI Bill to get a Film degree from Cal State Fullerton.
