I am a skilled and dedicated Degreed Nutritionist prepared to add clinical and community nutrition experience to your team with strengths in patient care, community involvement and diabetes education. I am proficient in nutrition education at the outpatient facility in which I work effectively with my Native American community. I am a determined achiever, eager to enhance my nutritional knowledge and skills to ultimately become a Registered Dietitian. I have an exceptional capacity to multi-task, plan and implement nutrition education programs while demonstrating incomparable patient care utilizing my bicultural background. I have superior interpersonal and communication skills, accurate in patient charting and other clinical documentation. I play a vital role in overseeing the federal diabetes grant, which involves but is not limited to coordinating and implementing nutritional workshops in the community. I am responsible for updating and providing patient management for the Diabetes Registry as needed for the health centers grant in which I develop reports via the Indian Health Service’s Government Performance and Results Act.
