  • Lead a three-person marketing team and 10-person marketing committee to brand ArtsKC and raise money for artists in the 5-county region.
  • Conduct outreach efforts that benefit artists and arts groups.
  • Coordinate dozens of community events, Block Parties, Fund Drives, Art Day at the K, to raise awareness of our mission.
  • Create marketing campaigns to meet our annual  fundraising goals.
  • Work in collaboration with 30 small and mid-sized arts organizations to help them achieve their missions in the region.

  • Led the company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, including employee engagement, and community involvement.
  • Served as liaison with the Assurant Foundation to administer corporate giving budget of $450,000. Managed Community Involvement Committee, fully engaged our 1,500 employees and narrowed our giving from 107 organizations to 13 nonprofits that shared similar mission and visions of that of Assurant.
  • Developed the biggest PR & branding event the company had ever executed: Project Perseverance.
