Brenda Tsai

Brenda Tsai, prior to pursuing her master’s degree in public relations at Boston University in 2006, was an English major in National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan. After graduating in 2005, she interned as an English teacher at a public high school in Taipei, and obtained teaching license afterwards. Through the volunteer work with the National Youth Commission and her internship, Tsai found the passion in public relations and then pursued her master’s degree in that area at Boston University. Through graduate coursework, Tsai has gained familiarity with public relations research methods, program planning strategies, implementation techniques and evaluation procedures. Her internship experience at Winsper Inc., a Boston-based marketing and advertising firm, provided her with a practical outlet through which to hone and apply key team and project collaboration skills. Specifically, she supported and took responsibility for coordinating communication efforts, compiling editorial press coverage, and worked with online marketing and PR tools, among other duties. Tsai is now finishing her last semester at Boston University and looking forward to distributing her learning to PR professional field afterwards.
